We provide a one-of-a-kind educational experience for the children we care for and the families who cherish them. We offer in one place all that parents need for a healthy and safe start for their children.

Our Philosophy

Because teaching young minds is a task that cannot be taken lightly, we believe that children learn best when the classroom and day care environment support their emotional, social, physical, creative, cultural, and educational needs. Great Adventures Active Learning Centre recognizes the importance of providing meaningful experiences and opportunities for children to explore in their learning process. As children’s skills develop, our curriculum will progress with them. Our thematic units help children explore and discover the world while learning Spanish.

We also understand that each child brings to the Great Adventures Active Learning Centre a history of life experience and cultural heritage. Partnerships with families are essential to each child’s growth and development. We strive to create and promote these strong partnerships and create a thoughtful, warm, and compassionate sense of community.

Philosophy

Bilingual

English and Spanish

Our thematic units help children explore and discover the world while learning Spanish. We see the need of exposure to a second language, first because we live in a world where a multilingual education is necessary and second because speaking a second language improves problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making.

Numerous studies have found that bilingualism can improve brain function, such as the ability to focus attention and perform mental tasks.
