Keeping You Connected

It's easy to say you have an open door policy. But what if you’re at work and can't leave to drop in? Do we go overboard keeping you connected? Of course we do! It’s hard to be apart, and we never want you wondering what your child is doing throughout the day. Open communication with the families we serve is a high priority. The way we see it, the more you know, the more comfortable you feel and the easier it is to build a trusting relationship.

We connect parents with their children through the HiMama app. HiMama provides a quick and simple way to document more effectively and share information with parents more efficiently. The app manages everything from funny moments to developmental achievements, to involve parents, and to improve learning outcomes for children.

Four Homemade

Meals a Day

You want your child to eat well and be happy, healthy, and active. We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we provide 4 nutritious meals a day to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds.

We do not serve juice. We do not serve fried foods. We do not serve sugary snacks.

At Great Adventures Active Learning Centre, nutrition is about more than the food on the plate: it’s an important part of our educational model. The children set the table with their friends, practice por favor (please) and gracias (thank you). This approach builds an I-can-do-it-myself confidence and puts love on the table, along with good food. In other words, at Great Adventures, mealtime creates strong classroom communities.

Once a month, our menu features international cuisine. These adventurous dishes encourage children to try new experiences and flavours, opening their minds to a world of flavours and an opportunity to celebrate other cultures.

We take care to not serve common allergens and can adapt menus based on your child’s allergies or food sensitivities.

Security

Your child's safety and well-being is our highest priority. We provide safety and security systems for parents’ peace of mind. Every parent or caregiver authorized to pick up a child has a unique passcode to enter the building. All unfamiliar visitors must show a picture ID. Our security standards are rigorous and strictly enforced.
